Believe me, I know what it's like to plan a wedding on a budget. I wanted my own wedding day to be completely momentous, but I felt like that wasn't going to be possible.

I would buy wedding magazines and go straight to the "Budget Ideas" section, only to find that even the budget ideas were out of my league.

It was beginning to look like a Las Vegas drive-thru wedding was our only option...

Sometimes Simplicity is the Only Smart Answer

One day on my way home from work something clicked and I was like, "What are you doing? Keep it simple, Stupid!" That day I changed my whole outlook on weddings, inspired this site, and guaranteed a fantastic day!

Our wedding day ended up being every bit the unforgettable affair I hoped it would be. All that really mattered was my husband and I, and the people that came to watch us say our vows.

Although...knowing I didn't go broke paying for it, might have had something to do with why it was such a happy day.
