Nov. to May. The height of the rainy season (June and July) the
Pacific coast (i.e. Tamarindo Bay) sees increased swells and
bigger, faster waves

If you want to spot the Resplendent
Quetzal go between Nov. and Apr. The best season to see the Leatherback
Turtle is from Apr. to May. If you want to see Green Turtles
go during Aug. and Sept.

November to April are
considered the warm and dry season so if you want to avoid rain
and have a nice hot holiday with lots of time for lounging on
the beach as well as site seeing, this is the time to go.

Time For Cost Savings
December and January are the most
expensive times to visit. Late October and Early May would cost
a bit less and have decent weather. If you're surfers go the
Pacific coast in low season (July/August)!
