What We Looked For in the Leading Online Honeymoon Gift Registry

Choosing a leading online honeymoon gift registry provider isn't easy. There are a handful of them to choose from. Personally, I was overwhelmed!

In the end they all have pros and cons. The leading online honeymoon gift registry however has more pros!

I looked at about 7 or 8. They were all ok. But, one stood out. It just had everything that a honeymoon gift registry should have. Flexibility, control, extra perks, low cost and convenience.

The Runner's Up

Honeyluna

They have agents to help you put your registry together and do all of the work for you, which is definitely k.i.s.s style, but, may or may not work for you. Online payments is an option and they will email guests letting them know about the registry, but none of the fancy stuff you get with Honeymoon Wishes.This one is a little bit more expensive than others, but, I believe if you book with them the price goes down considerably.

Travellers Joy

Not quite the leading online honeymoon gift registry provider! But, this registry is my favorite in terms of the layout of the actual registry. I really like how you can write a bit about yourself and it includes a map of where you're going. It too allows guests to pay with credit card. The commission is not really higher than normal, but it is just average. They also have really great examples to help with planning. The commission is average and you don't get any of the extra perks that Honeymoon Wishes gives you.

Honeyfund - The Free Alternative

This is the only free honeymoon registry service that I found that's worth any consideration. Not only are the people who work their professional but the registry you get is really nice looking...and it's FREE! The only drawback, is they don't accept online payments YET- which may or may not matter to you? You can use Paypal of course though. They also have some really great sample registries that will inspire ideas. Like the others it's flexible and let's you book your travel with whoever you want!
