I live in Parry Sound Ontario and I think it's the greatest city on earth for a honeymoon!

If you aren't from Canada, you probably don't know that this is considered Cottage Country for Toronto'ites. Celebrities like Goldie Hahn have made it their haven from Hollywood and find peace in our quiet, rustic and natural surroundings.

Cottages can be rented weekly or monthly and it is really quite affordable and private, with most cottages owning several acres. There are super luxurious cottages and simple log cabins so regardless of budget, there is something for you.

Oh ya... You know famous Avril Lavigne. She grew up in the area and loves it to this day!
