Summer wedding themes are easy... why you ask?

Well, because summer is the season of bounty, life, the outdoors, sunshine socializing and color.... oh my gosh...the COLOR!

And, well, with all of these things going for it, finding the inspiration for your theme shouldn't be any problem at all.

You don't need look any farther than your backyard for inspriations in color, mood and even decor.

Summer is the season of flowers, just pick your favorite and use it's color and/or image to inspire your wedding theme.

The Hawaiian Plumeria

If you love Hawaii, the plumeria is one of the great starting points for a theme

The plumeria is a beautiful flower which can be found in many different colors. I love this color to the right because it inspired a yellow and silver theme - currently one of my favorite color themes!

If you're going with the Plumeria, it doesn't mean that you have to have a Hawaiian wedding or even use it in your bouquets... though it might be nice to include a couple in your bouquet and maybe in a few as a table decoration in a bowly with floating candles.

Calla Lily

A calla lily wedding theme with matching invites and favors is a simple yet easy to personalize theme. They both make for a really beautiful simple wedding theme that you can really make your own. Both of these flowers inspire a beautiful color scheme of white and green or yellow and brown.

A Garden Wedding

If you're planning a garden wedding, then you make all the flowers your inspiration..... Have fun with your summer favors and adorn your table in pretty flowers and/or other garden symbols like birds or dragonflies. In this case one great favor a great favor would be personalized honey.

Mediterranean

The Mediterranean Inspires So Many In Such Different Ways!

If you love the Mediterranean, your inspiration can be the colors of the sea, their orange roofs, fields of sunflowers and lavender, or the many colors in their food.

Some great favors would include and olive oil weding favor, wine or a lavender flower pot, while invites in lavender or the colors of the Mediterranean. Look to there colors for inspirations in decor and fashion.

The Beach

The beach makes a great summer wedding theme, since it's where many of us spend so much of our time! Find inspirations in the beach surroundings and colors for ideas. You can even go so far as picking a particular beach. Seashells, the colors of the fish, trees, pebbles, beach glass and sand are only a few examples of some of the images of beach that can inspire your beach theme.
